Dr. Nafysa Parpia

Dr. Nafysa Parpia is a licensed naturopathic doctor and the Director of Naturopathic Medicine at Gordon Medical Associates in San Rafael, California, a practice known nationally for treating complex, multi-system chronic illness. Her clinical focus is the patient population that has often cycled through many providers without answers: chronic tick-borne infections including Lyme and co-infections, environmentally acquired illness, mold and mycotoxin toxicity, mast cell activation syndrome, autoimmunity, fibromyalgia, ME/CFS and Long COVID.

Her academic path began with a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia, followed by a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 2012. Her clinical model is deliberately integrative: she pairs conventional and functional-medicine diagnostics with a treatment toolkit spanning regenerative medicine, micronutrient and IV nutrient therapies, peptide therapies, bioidentical hormone therapy, botanical medicine, targeted pharmaceuticals, functional nutrition and psychoemotional support. Treatment always has to be designed for the individual person, and their unique needs.

Her post-doctoral training is extensive and procedurally oriented, including Peptide Therapy Certifications Modules I and II from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, biologic allograft and exosome therapy training, neural therapy certification, injection therapy through the American Academy of Procedural Medicine, ozone and prolozone certification, ultrasound-guided injection training, IV nutrient therapy certification, and certifications in craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation.

Dr. Parpia serves on the Board of Directors of the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness and is a scientific and medical advisor to Neurohacker Collective. She is a frequent conference presenter within the Lyme, environmental illness and integrative medicine communities, has hosted three online health summits, and maintains a large library of clinical education interviews and talks. At Peptide University she teaches the clinical class Mast Cell Activation and Chronic Immune Complexes.
